Zero Energy Home Construction

A Zero Energy Home uses as much energy for cooling, heating, hot water, and other electrical loads on an annual basis as is produced from on-site photovoltaic panels or other renewable energy sources.

Zero energy is achieved through energy reduction, as well as energy production.

Benefits

Picture

Custom Built

Each Zero Energy Home is tailored to the customers lifestyle, requirements and satisfaction.
Picture

Sustainable

A Zero Energy Home is built airtight, super insulated, and utilizes high-performance windows, doors, and mechanical systems.
They consume 1/3 the energy needed for cooling, heating, hot water, and other electrical loads compared to a traditionally built home.

Environment Friendly

A Zero Energy Home decreases carbon emissions and environmental impact by using less energy and sustainably-sourced materials.
Picture

Air Quality

Clean air constantly circulates throughout the Zero Energy Home. Fresh air from the outdoors is introduced and filtered of pollen, dirt and pollutants.
Picture

Sound Deadening

Thick, insulated walls and windows significantly decreases outdoor noise. Loud vehicles or high winds are hardly heard from inside.

Quality of Life

Fresh air and quiet living produces a higher quality of life than living in a code built home.

Return On Investment
Although it costs slightly more to build a Zero Energy Home compared to a code-built home, it cost less than a conventional home to own.  This is because your energy bill will be very small compared to a code-built house, leaving more money to pay the small increase in your mortgage payment that result from energy efficiency and/or solar photovoltaic upgrades.
